The Turismo is our fully modern Eurorack modular workstation, blending a curated mix of our flagship analog and digital modules for a versatile and creative patching experience. It offers a distinctive ALM character, designed for both precision and fun.

The workstation delivers everything from analog bass, beeps and leads, lush chords, filtering, extensive sampling, and DSP effects combined with various sequencing styles and numerous modulation options plus full MIDI integration. It’s an all-in-one creative hub that’s endlessly explorable.

Designed also with live performance in mind, the travel-sized 84hp system fits in a rucksack and comes with a Decksaver cover for added protection. With MIDI, stereo line-level input, and headphone output, it’s perfect for live sets, DAWless jamming, and seamless studio integration. The system features a custom design with unique coloured controls and neodyme bronze anodized side panels.

The Turismo is a perfect starting point for Eurorack beginners, offering a seamless pain-free entry into modern modular synthesis that’s immediately playable. For seasoned users, it’s a ready-to-use and well balanced cutting edge system designed for effortless creative exploration.

Analog Synthesis

With analog at its core the Turismo offers a selection of classic analog synthesis circuits, including the TAZM-O, MCFx2, MEGA MILTON and MEGA-TANG.

The system’s first main voice, the TAZM-O is an analog triangle core oscillator featuring through-zero frequency modulation. It includes a continuous morphing wave/pulse width shape control, dual varied pulse sub octave outputs, a voltage controlled FM Index, built in output level VCA and voltage controlled octave transposition.

For sound shaping, the Turismo includes the MCFx2, a dual state variable filter featuring 2 classic analog voltage controlled 3 pole filter cores each with Low, High and Band Pass (or Notch) outputs. Both filters can be linked to function like one in series or parallel.

Tying it all together is the MEGA MILTON, a smorgasbord of handy all analog utilities that includes a stereo line input converter for bringing in line level external sources, a fixed 4 input mixer with breakout attenuator for combining signals, a gated slew limiter for adding slides to sequences and a sample and hold with analog white noise for generating melodies, percussive textures and more.

On primary mixing duties, the Turismo includes the MEGA-TANG, a performable 4-channel VCA and stereo mixer providing hands on control over level, effect send, pan and muting. Channels include optional direct outs for independent VCA use.

Digital Synthesis, Sampling and DSP

As well as Analog, the Turismo incorporates a selection of modern digital designs packed with character, including the CIZZLE, Squid Salmple, and MFX.

The system’s second voice, the CIZZLE is dual ‘CZ’ style phase distortion oscillator that offers a rich palette of sounds from mellow ambient tones, 90s Detroit Techno inspired chords, Reese style basses and synth tones with unique faux resonance squelch.

For everything else, there’s the Squid Salmple, an 8 channel audio & CV sampler designed for immediate real time sampling, editing and mangling. Taking influence from early hardware samplers, the Squid focuses on usability & instinctive operation and comes with a USB Stick featuring 90 banks of original curated royalty free samples to get your Turismo in gear in no time.

Enhancing any sound in its path, the MFX is a compact fun and practical stereo digital audio multi effects processor offering 18 different effects programs plus metering utilities. Inspired by classic hardware effects, the MFX incorporates DSP technologies from the dawn of digital effects in the 70s to the present day. Effects range from distortion, dynamics, reverb and delay to frequency shifting, glitch and more.

Modulation & Sequencing

The ubiquitous Pamela’s PRO Workout, ASQ-1, Quaid Megaslope and Pip Slope provide endless and inspiring modulation and sequencing possibilities within the Turismo.

The heart of the system, Pamela’s PRO Workout is a compact programmable clocked modulation source providing 8 highly editable master BPM synced outputs that can produce anything from simple clocked triggers to complex rhythmic waveforms, quantised melodic patterns or random chaos with many parameters controllable directly or via assigned external CV.

Taking a more hands on approach is the ASQ-1, a multi-mode sequencer designed to be simple and immediate and suited to quickly jamming out ideas, happy accidents and performing live. Programming of all patterns is performed using the mechanical computer style keys with classic 'SH101' style step-time note entry and familiar drum machine pattern editing.

For detailed modulation in seconds, the Quaid Megaslope provides a complex multistage envelope, super flexible LFO or analog style step sequencer with per step slides. Designed to be fun, flexible and intuitive to use, the Quaid Megaslope makes custom modulation easy to pull off with dedicated controls and many CV inputs.

For simpler shapes, there’s the Pip Slope, a compact function generator that produces both Attack/Decay and Attack/Sustain/Decay envelopes under both direct and voltage control. It includes unique pseudo echo, bouncing ball and looping operation modes.

Live Performance & Connectivity

Designed with performance and integration in mind, the Turismo provides everything you need to jam within an existing setup on stage or in the studio.

The mmMidi / mmT is a plug-and-play MIDI to CV interface that provides fast, easy connectivity between the Turismo and your DAW or MIDI devices. The mmMidi translates 2 Channels of MIDI note, velocity and gate information to corresponding CV signals as well as converting MIDI clock to sync the system with the outside world. The mmT provides a third channel used to output up to 8 trigger signals, ideal for patching directly into the Squid Salmple.

The HPO is a clean stereo headphone output that doubles as line level source for mixers and audio interfaces. A stereo line input can also be found on the MEGA MILTON, making it easy to process and mix external instruments directly into the system.

The MEGA-TANG functions as the primary mixer section of the Turismo, it integrates effortlessly with the MFX via the send/return and makes performing easy with accessible mute switches, hands on controls and built in VCAs.
